Edgard Roquette-Pinto (Rio de Janeiro, 25 de setembro de 1884 — Rio de Janeiro, 18 de outubro de 1954), foi um médico legista, professor, escritor, antropólogo, etnólogo e ensaísta brasileiro.[carece de fontes?] Membro da Academia Brasileira de Letras, é considerado o pai da radiodifusão no Brasil. Foi criador da Rádio Sociedade do Rio de Janeiro, com o intuito de difundir a educação por este meio, por volta de 1923.
