About station About Yle radio Vega Östnyland
Yle Vega (aiemmin Yle Radio Vega) on Yleisradion ruotsinkielinen radiokanava, jonka ohjelmisto painottuu asiaohjelmiin ja Suomen ruotsinkieliseen musiikkiin. Kanavalla ovat merkittävässä asemassa aluelähetykset, joita tuotetaan toimituksissa Itä-Uudellamaalla, Länsi-Uudellamaalla, ruotsinkielisellä Pohjanmaalla (lähes koko Rannikko-Pohjanmaa ja Keski-Pohjanmaan Kokkola), pääkaupunkiseudulla ja Turunmaalla.
Yöaikaan kanava lähettää klassista musiikkia ohjelmanimellä "Nattklassiskt". Ennen 1990-luvun lopun radiouudistusta asema tunnettiin nimellä Riksradion. Vuosina 1997–2005 muualla kuin kaksi- ja ruotsinkielisillä rannikkoalueilla lähetettiin FSR Mix -nimistä koostekanavaa, jolta kuului Radio Extremin lähetys silloin, kun rannikolla kuului alueradioiden lähetykset. FSR Mix lopetettiin 1. syyskuuta 2005. Yle Vega kuuluu Yle Teema & Femin Textnyttin taustaäänenä. Yle Vega tavoitti Finnpanelin mukaan syksyllä 2021 päivittäin 111 000 suomalaista ja viikoittain 208 000 suomalaista.
